I'm new to filming this yr and am really enjoying it so far. This forum has been extremely helpful so I'm hoping it can help me out again. Where do you guys get music to use in your videos. Any help would be appreciated
YouTube has expanded their collection of free music and there's some decent stuff there. If it's something I'm serious about I'll look to MusicBed, Audio Blocks or Premium Beat. Music Licensing for Video, Film & Advertising - Musicbed Download 100,000 Royalty-Free Music, Sound Effects, and Loops Royalty Free Music Library from PremiumBeat.com The music on paid sites are much better quality.
I should note that for the cost of a song or two (single use) from the other two sites, you can get a year of unlimited downloads, unlimited number of uses from Audio Block. Again, the cheaper the cost, the lower quality of the music generally speaking. AB has some good stuff though.
Thanks Man, I've been using You Tube's Audio Library, but that Audio Blocks is really nice.......Thanks Brother Creeks
Another note on Audio blocks. They have a free trial. During that trial you can download as many songs as you'd like and keep them forever. So, If you really wanted to be cheap, you could scout out a bunch of songs, sign up for the free trail and download anything you can to build up a music library you can use anytime in the future. Then cancel your membership before the free trial is over and vuala, free music. They have some nice looping clips and sound effects too. Well worth the $99/yr investment IMO.
