Well gents i have made the jump into self filming. I have fiddle with this for years with a go pro strapped to the bow but the quality wasn't there. I just picked up a Canon Vixia hf s200. I got it on an ebay find and I am not looking back. I just broke out the amazon card and ordered an external mic with wind sock, some larger SD cards and a controller to go on the tripod. I look forward to filmimg my turkey hunts with my daughter this year. Will also be dabbling in the second and third view cameras.

With this being said.. Wish me luck and maybe one day you will see a PA man on Bow Hunt or Die!!! :)

I have the HF S20 and it I think it is a great starter camera. Now that you have your video and audio taken care of, took into getting a tripod and a fluid head. Worth every penny!! Good luck!

So question.. I got the wind screen from S4.. Are you to try to stretch that over the factory foam or just slide it over the mic itself in place of the factory foam that it came with.
