I am really interested in getting this video editing software but I don't think my laptop is good enough. Do you guys normally video edit on laptops or desktops? How much would the program be effected if my computer didn't meet the specs? Any advice or suggestions? Disappointed that my computer doesn't meet specs. Program specs are below for PC

    Windows 7 SP1, 8, or 10 (64-bit)
2 GHz or faster processor with SSE2 support (dual-core processor required for HDV or AVCHD editing and Blu-ray or AVCHD export; Core i7 required for XAVC S)
    4 GB RAM
5 GB of available disk space (additional free space required during installation); 10 GB additional space to download content

My girlfriend is a professional video editor and we found this ASUS ROG GL551 Series GL551JW-DS71 15.6-Inch Laptop with these specs:

Intel Core i7-4720HQ 2.6 GHz Processor
16 GB DDR3 RAM; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M
    1TB HDD Storage; DL DVD±RW/CD-RW
    15.6 inches 1920*1080 pixels LED-lit Screen

We are very pleased with it. The Core i7 runs blazing fast, and it's biggest advantage to me is the heat-to-power ratio. It doesn't get as incredibly hot as some other systems she have used.
