I got to see it. Awesome Buck! It certainly can be frustrating trying to get it to all come together. It adds to the excitement. It will cost you shots you would've had if hunting without the camera. You pulled it off and that makes for an awesome hunt you can relive and share with others. Congrats!

I have 2 more to edit. But it will be a little bit. I hate editing. However I did learn Voiceover or narration in my editing software. That was my best buck of the yr. though.

I find editing such a chore. I try to shoot video so i have the smallest amount of editing to do. I'm so bad at editing that I have my desktop Mac open, running the editor program AND my laptop Mac on youtube tutorials trying to learn how to do the simplest tasks. I spent one and 1/2 hrs. trying to Do a slow motion scene where the arrow was flying to the deer. I was filming with the hfg30 which has spectacular clarity. When I watched the video on a direct link to my 55" tv with a HDMI cable, running the cam in 1/8 speed it was awesome. The arrow was in the air for 6FRAMES with the Nocturnal lit knock flying to the target. It was the highlight of the video and I just couldn't get it the way I wanted. I got frustrated cuz I had worked on it over 5 hrs. and just gave up on the slo mo scene. People seem to like the video but I'm disappointed cuz I know what We coulda watched.

On another note. I was able to shoot a 3pt. on video at 15yds. that was relaxed and feeding. That footage was pretty cool, not a lot of zoom and there's 3 or 4 frames. The arrow passing through the deer and 2 frames where he's so close you can see the hole through his hair as he's low tailing it outa there.

What program do you edit with? I just use Windows Movie Maker. I start by uploading all the clips that contain the footage I want. I then go thru each of those clips and trim away all the stuff I don't want. I then assemble the clips in the order I wanted. As I get them in order I pick the transition between each clip. I always stop and save after every 7 or 8 edits. If I dont, the program freezes up and all the edits I've made won't be saved. After it's all done I watch it a few times and tweet a few things.

I'm using Adobe premiere elements 11. I'm 60 Born before the computer and modern technology age. And I have no one to show me how to do things with the modern thingamajigs.I have to learn it all from tutorials which i watch over and over till my eyes are burning outa their sockets. Crap it took me a month to figure out how to get the footage outa the camera into the computer. I still barely know how to trim clips.

I will say that I am proud of a video I did where me and my pal were both filming at a spike i shot and i spliced the footage together for a 2cam shoot. It was "2 Cam shoot on spike buck in NY." I worked on that for weeks and Im happy with the way it came out.
