    Hey Guys!

Just received my tactacam in the mail! Pretty stoked about it. It will be the first attempt to film my own hunts. For those of you who use similar cams, do you use the stabilizer or mount it to your stabilizer? Also any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

When I am in treestand I mount it to my stabilizer, when I am in ground blind I mount it to the top riser and when I am going to MT this fall I made a headband to mount it on my head because MT in all their wisdom has banned cameras from being mounted to bows....

I use the stabilizer mount but invested in a K-tech string stop and that has seemed to help a lot with the shot vibration in the videos. Tactacams are such an easy way to capture and replay your hunt for years to come! My advice would be to practice filming with it on your stabilizer, it typically lines up very well with your sight making it easy to film the deer coming in, the shot, and after! Good luck with it and have fun!

Great tips and thanks for sharing your video. When you shot your buck was that the tactacam angle?

Yes that was the Tactacam, the footage of the deer coming down the field edge was with the Tactacam also. I just had my bow pointed at him from the time I saw him to the point of the shot!
