Starting out filming

    I'm buying a canon vixia hf R70. I am going to also get a shotgun Mic. Also going to get the basic muddy camera arm. Probably extra battery, light attachment and a stabilizer. Is there anything else anyone would recommend getting?

    I agree with copperhead, an nice pack to carry it around in. You might want a large external hard drive to put all the footage on.

    think about getting a tripod, really helps with laying down footage when you are scouting, and in/out of the stand
