    Great film. I have that same pull string decoy although Iv'e yet to have a bird see it yet. my season opens a wk from today. Its funny you filmed almost exactly the way I'm going to except I'm gonna put my go pro on a stake to get it off the ground a little. Once again great video. and congrats on the bird.

    Yeah, I didn't know if the camera would bother them so I hid it in the corn stubble. Gonna have to try to get it higher next l time like you say for better footage.

    Rather than buy an expensive ground stake i just went to my local hardware store and bought a 3ft. pc. of 1/4 20 threaded rod. The go pro tripod base threads right in.Lock it with a flat washer lock washer and nut. DONE. Instant ground stake. Cost 5 bucks.
