How Do You Protect Your Mic?

    How do you guys protect your shotgun mic when walking to and from the treestand? I have a Rode VideoMic with the suspension system and am concerned that the suspension system might brake if I just pack in in my back pack. Thanks in advance!

    Mine just goes in my pack last. That way its on top of everything else. I'm not worried about mine breaking.

    I have the same mic and don't worry too much about it breaking. It seems very flexible.

    I just use the mic bracket on my camera, but flip the mic around backwards for packing in and out. I built a custom fit foam insert that fits in the pack. I just drop the cam down in there and feel like it is as protected as possible.

    Mine gets tossed around a lot, and I've had it for 3 years now, never had any issues. Half the time it gets thrown in a bag or in a tub.
