Just curious what you guys think of the HS Strut Lite 3 pack flock decoys. Comes with a Jake in semi-agressive strut (1/4 strut), a feeding hen and lookout hen for $99. Free shipping and a $20 mail in rebate.

Also looking at the Avian-X which do look better but are $75-85 each.

Just curious what decoys you guys are using and what your thoughts are on the HS Strut.

I know most any decoy will work in certain circumstances.

Thats a good deal. They all work so dont spend a ton of money. I have really good success with Night and Hale Pretty Boy.

The Avian's look great and I'm sure work well, but I don't think you have to spend that type of money. I just picked this set up last week and think they will work just fine. $49.99 with a $10 rebate.

I have found that the $10 dollar ones at Wal-Mart work well but I got some and did some touch up painting on them last year

I have an Avian X LCD strutter (whos head im gonna paint more white) and my buddys Avian X breeder head. Should be a great combo.

Ive never been much of a decoy person. Ive used different styles in the past and had mixed results.

I have a couple year old Dakota jake that is very realistic and an Avian X Lookout hen on the way from Wing Supply. They send me emails almost daily with sales and this one was good......$59.95 plus $4 shipping. UPS tracking has it out for delivery, so I have been watching the front of the house and listening for the big brown truck as I was shooting a while ago. Looks like it will be tomorrow??? Hopefully that is going to be a wicked tempting combo for a longbeard this spring.

My first year hunting turkey. Crossbow style. Had some decoys given to me a while back. Jake and hen, then bought a $24 Primos hen. Beeks I thought were to bright so toned them down a bunch with gray & grown. Will see what happens middle of this month, - if it ever quits raining. All dirt (now mud) road to the hunting areas.

I just got a Primos hen for $10, looks good and hopefully it will work good this year. This will be my first year using a decoy in a field full of Turkeys.

Best set up I've ever used when toms see it they go absolutely nuts they come running, killed over half dozen turkeys over it
Cut a hole through the top of your hen then get a longer stake or piece of rebar then put jake directly on top cheap decoys work best
