Sam you going turkey hunting this spring ? I had a hen fly over my house yesterday morning, thought it might have landed on the peak! It didn't just flew right on over. Figured it must be an omen, Apr. 11th can't come soon enough.

Rogue6, How's the temps. down in TX this time of year? Was up into the mid 60, 70's here until last night, 27 this morning.
Coop, any birds strutin' in PA yet ? I now it's still early, but some birds in some places get ansi like us.

I was scouting today and on my way to the woods there was a farmers field with 3 strutters. I should have stopped and taken a pic. Earliest I have seen that in a long time.
Good luck to everyone! I've been seeing strutting for a few days now. Today as I was going to check a camera I made it about 20 yards out of my truck and came over a hill top and saw 3 toms feeding one strutting, just turned around left. I don't think I've ever been this fired up for a season!
In Alabama the last few days turkey hunting. Birds are gobbling good every morning. Only one problem, I really don't have a clue what I'm doing! Oh well still having a great time and have seen a few birds. Hoping to luck into one tomorrow morning before making the 15 hr ride home.
thanks good luck to you and every one!! yesterday it was 11:00 and heard one just out of sight in the brush gobbling like a mad man here in PA. it is going to be interesting to see how many birds we lost due to this never ending winter. got up this morning and had another fresh 3" of new snow on the ground. how depressing!!!
