Some of you know that Greg Staggs and his son Matthew came out from MO to join me for the turkey opener. We have had an absolutely amazing hunt! Yesterday Mathew started it off with his shotgun and Greg followed up with his bow for a double. This morning Matthew laid the hurt down on another dandy longbeard. Here is yesterday's hunt, I will post todays as soon as it is down uploading.
As I get them uploaded I will share a few other vids from our 2.5 day hunt. lotta jakes, ( seems like everytime we set up, no matter where we went, as soon as we hit a call a group of jakes ran in. Oh and some deer.
Nice work, yuall! Watchin those gets me pumped for turkey opener sunday morning! I REALLY appreciate TJ inviting yuall to come hunt. Although not everyone could afford it, espy going out of state, but those of us with land and plenty of wildlife should learn (like TJ) to not be so selfish and share the bounty! I know they certainly appreciated it! Thanks TJ!
This is once the runnin and slingin got started this AM. We had hopped out of the blind and hauled tail down the creek to try and catch up with a lone gobbler and away from the jakes. Soon as we tucked into the brush and set the dekes here come the jakes lol
No and in hindsite I wish I had! There was so much action and excitement that I didn't think of it at the time. Was mostly trying to work on my poor filming skills and at the same time capture some memories for Greg and Matthew
