Our brassica plots are getting pounded so far this late season. I sat last week in out 1/4 acre plot and I counted 27 deer at last light. We have about 4 or 5 bucks on the farm that are over 4 years old that survived gun season. It seems like they all stay out of the plots if that darn 135is 9 pointer is in there. He does everything in his power to run every deer out of the plot. He is the smallest scoring mature buck we have but he is at the top of my hit list right now. I'm giving it one last crack on Saturday, hopefully I can put up with the -20 degree wind chill to sit it out for a couple hours. I'm just as excited to start picking up sheds soon!
