Has anyone used both Covert and USA trail cams? I've seen great pics come from both, but I'm wondering which of these two are more reliable, long term. I have a few Coverts, but I can't get one to be reliable for more than 2 seasons! Are the USA cams dependable over the long haul, say 3+ years?
Ive used both Both are made in China (for now) i really dont think you will get anything dependable from there I cant comment on the dependability of the USA as far as 3 years. Mainly because we wont know that for 3 years. But being made in the USA in 2017 will help that alot To be perfectly honest I think a "good cammer" can get great pics with almost any cam But a good camera certainly makes it easier
I have both and I still use both. USA trail cameras are good cameras. They will have their learning curve like all trail cam companies do. The one thing I like best about them is there willingness to change and make the next cam better than the last instead of waiting 2-3 years to do so. I know the owner personally and he is a good guy and he wants to make a good product here in the US and that says a lot to me.
