So after buying cheap cams and having them crap out in a week I've decided to go with a better camera. I'm thinking about gettin the Cuddeback long range. A lot of my friends swear buy them but I never wanted to spend $150 on a cam but I'd like to see what you guys say about it!
Cuddeback has had a bad reputation for a long time. A lot of complaints have been with their customer service, which seemed to be nonexistent. Another complaint about them was the field of view of the sensor, it was very narrow. In other words, unless the subject was directly in front of the camera, you didn't get a picture. It is my understanding that their latest models have improved in that area. If I were to recommend a commercial camera it would be the Browning Strike Force HD. IMO, for the money they are hard to beat. Good luck to you. Blessings.......Pastorjim
I have a few. The Bushnell HD cam took pictures at long ranges but once temp got above 80 would take a lot of blanks. Right now I am having the best luck with Stealth Cam g42ng. If you check around you can get them at a decent price.
We have 10 Cuddeback IR. Love them. They range from brand new to 3 plus years old. We put them out 365. The only 2 issues I have is; 1) the SD cards are pain to pull out. 2) the IR flash is to strong sometimes which whites out the photo. I'd give them a 4 out 5 stars. I would buy again. We've had great customer service. They took back 8 of our old Cuddeback Captures gave us 30% off on the new LR IR's.
May buy one to try out. I got a stealthcam the other day but I'll try them out too to see what I like better
