Big PA buck outa velvet already

    Very surprised to have a buck outa velvet this early, he's been a resident on the farm I hunt all summer, hopefully he sticks around. Not the best pics,there screen shots from a video.

    It is a tad early, but there has to be a first buck out of velvet somewhere. That's a great Pa buck!

    I was pumped to see him out of velvet already, my summer flew by planning for our wedding this September, I set it up so that I'll be back from the honey moon just in time for the start of the season! Hope the buck sticks around and I get a crack at him.

    I saw one just this morning with no velvet! It was odd, I saw him by himself and further down the field I saw a group of four young bucks running together that were all still in velvet.

    Down here in florida they have been out of velvet for at least a month. Our rut in the south zone is already done and we have been huntin for 2 weeks

    All the other bucks on the farm are still in velvet as well. Won't be long !

    wow... very early... I have shot them in CT mid Sept in full velvet!

    Nope hot as all getout here. Mosquitoes and snakes. Feels like 105 degrees and you have to really want to sit in that.
