The deer in velvet is this year the polished antlered deer was last year. Last years deer is a wider frame with a kicker off left g2. This year is a narrower taller frame with kicker off g2 but with more junk. In the split pic I feel like last years deers eyes were wider apart. I'm leaning towards two different deer. What are your thoughts?

No one can say for certain, could be. I've seen deer change more than that from one year to the next though. If it's the same deer, he's put more energy into the G4's and he has the same LG2 kicker and brows, he also holds his ears in a similar manner and it looks as though he has the same mannerisms in which he walks, stands and poses with his neck and head in a semi sneak position. I think too many things are too spot on similar to be shared genetics even if both were twins from the same doe. He's getting older and maybe peaking this year for total inches. Anyway that's why I felt they are the same deer.

I definitely think it's different deer. The whole frame seems different to me. He would have also lost the crook in his right G2.

    Congrats, two big deer :tu:

I'm convinced they are from the same gene pool, because of the brow tines, but two different bucks. I think the rack configurations are too much unlike one another to be the same deer. jmo
