I just put out my newest Covert 40HD three weeks ago and checked it today. I opened it and it had no power to it. First I though dead batteries, but when I put them in new they were 100%, again just 3 weeks ago. It had taken about 20 or so pics, with a charge reading of 9 on the last pics taken, then it died! This cam is brand new. I took the batteries out and put them in my other Covert and they were reading a 9, so I know it's the cam. I went to Covert Support and gave them my info to see if I can get it looked at. The only hitch is I don't have a receipt for the cam because I bought it on line. Can't they tell by the SN that it's a new cam? Here's a pic of the cam, the only change I saw to this cam was the plastic snaps. Has anyone else had anything similar happen with a new Covert 40HD? Thanks for any insight.
Yes they can tell by the Serial # it is a new cam. They have GREAT Customer Service and they will take care of you. Don't Sweat it!
