Same buck 2 years later?

Never really paid attention to the buck two years ago and I don't think I ever got pictures of him last year. This year I caught a quick glimpse of a 8 point that looked familiar. Doesn't look like he'll be a freak or anything but looks to be the same buck but now with a little junk at the bases. What are your thoughts? I know it's tough to tell but looks pretty darn similar!

Based on those two pictures, I would not think they are the same buck. Might just the angles but the racks look different to me, and the amount of white around the nose isn't the same.

 

If I get any other shots of him anytime soon I'll post them!

 

That's hard to tell!

 

My gut feeling is no but I've seen bucks change antler configurations more than that so it could be.

 

As there is no correct answer I'll give my opinion...I do not think it is but he is a up and comer!

I don't think they are the same deer. Look at the face. They don't look the same in the face. A lot Less white around the nose and the eyes on the second picture.

Difficult to say for sure but I'd think in two years he would have added much more rack.

 

I do not think they are the same buck but at the same time it's hard to tell.
