had high hopes for him but he lost his brows. heres 2 pics of him from last week and one from late july last year.
Nice looking buck. He's got quite a bit of body size on him and looks like he will have some good mass, not to mention the split g2s.
Looks like his antlers still have a bit of growing to do, but looks like he should have more mass for sure. Might not score as well this year, but still a trophy.
Older the buck the better...sorry the only thing that starts decreasing in some is inches. Give me an old one over a higher scoring younger one ANYDAY (don't get me wrong I'll always shoot a high scoring buck haha!
You'll learn a lot more about hunting and how to kill a mature deer shooting him than you will a 3.5 year old buck with more inches. He's a trophy. No hesitation, still go after him!!!
All these "still" comments make me shake my head (no offense meant) but that buck isn't still a trophy he is MORE of a trophy.
he's put on a good amount of "bone" recently. lost the brows but looks to be splitting elsewhere. and YES.........if i do get him, he will be mounted and put in a great spot.
