7.5 years old and going downhill

    had high hopes for him but he lost his brows.

    Nice looking buck. He's got quite a bit of body size on him and looks like he will have some good mass, not to mention the split g2s.

    Looks like his antlers still have a bit of growing to do, but looks like he should have more mass for sure. Might not score as well this year, but still a trophy.

    Older the buck the better...sorry the only thing that starts decreasing in some is inches. Give me an old one over a higher scoring younger one ANYDAY (don't get me wrong I'll always shoot a high scoring buck haha!

    You'll learn a lot more about hunting and how to kill a mature deer shooting him than you will a 3.5 year old buck with more inches. He's a trophy. No hesitation, still go after him!!!

    All these "still" comments make me shake my head (no offense meant) but that buck isn't still a trophy he is MORE of a trophy.

    he's put on a good amount of "bone" recently.
    lost the brows but looks to be splitting elsewhere.

    and YES.........if i do get him, he will be mounted and put in a great spot.
