Now let me start off by saying that I have lived on this property for 50yrs-I bought the place from my parents. In those 50yrs we/I have had a garden every year. A couple of days ago I noticed my just emerging corn was being chewed down to the ground. Then we got a good rain and the garden got very muddy and I saw what the culprit was.....Deer! So what's the first thing I think of? Hang a camera of course. I began to get pics the very first night and every morning since. Guess I won't have any sweet corn this year. I even thought of planting a food plot in part of it so I could get my grandson his first deer. And to think I've been driving over an hour to my spot all these years and I could've been killing them from my front porch. These are all from my Sony S600 homebrew. This deer was out there at 10:00am this morning Few waterfowl pics Blessings.........Pastorjim
Good luck getting your grandson a deer . Looks like he should have a good chance at it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sweet Corn while more tender than some corn plantings...still strikes me as odd they'd be biting it to the ground jim? Is the diversity or abundance brows lacking?
I'm not sure Ty. There's also another part of the garden, not pictured, where they are eating newly emerged sunflowers. Since this started up a couple of weeks ago, I am getting over 100 pics a night of them raiding the garden. 'Course I am putting stuff out to attract them now. I figure I'll keep them coming as long as possible. Blessings.........Pastorjim
You seem pretty easy going about them eating in your garden. If that's me I'm putting up a fence or they're getting shot!
