I'm hoping, he found our neighbor's feral cats...he has WAY too many cats, to be still considered BARN cats.

We got lucky with our neighbor's feral cats when a bobcat found them. 27 down to 2 in less than two weeks! He accused me of getting rid of them but I had seen the bobcat with another neighbor at 2 in the afternoon on his lawn so he had to eat a little humble pie and the rest of us neighbors are wanting to thank the bobcat!

Bobcats will kill feral "domestic" cats??? Did not know that.

I have never seen a fisher. What do they primarily eat?

MEAT, they are fast enough to take squirrels out of trees.

Dnoodles, are you sure you're not thinking of mink or marten? Male fishers are good sized critters.

Glad to have him in our backyards for sure! He also has been keeping the pigeons that are hanging around in check too!

Hoowow. Yeah, guess what I thought was a fisher was maybe a marten. Definitely not a mink. Last one I saw came barreling out of a marsh behind my old house, snatched a mourning dove out of some bushes, and then hauled ashes back to the marsh like his tail was on fire with feather flying everywhere. Darnedest thing I ever saw.

Brother and I saw a fisher while we were sitting on my tailgait eating lunch one bow hunting day.. The one and only time we saw one.

we looked up and saw it through the windows of the empty garage...it just stared at us for 5 seconds... And took off...we ran around the garage to see it but it was gone...one of the coolest things I've ever seen while hunting.,and it was way bigger than a rabbit....
