I was on my way to my hunting spot this morning to take down my stands and check cams. I have been wanting to do a carcass cam but I haven't been able to find a carcass. We were going along when I saw a very freshly killed deer on the side of the road. I pulled over and called the DNR so I could get a transportation tag. They referred me to the local sheriff. When I called them they told it would be about an hour or so before they could get there. Just as I was on the phone with them a state trooper pulls up and asks me if I need any help. I told him what I wanted and he said sure I can get you a tag, go ahead and load the deer. He had a tag for me in about a minute and I was on my way. Anyway, here's some shots from today.
