I got this guy on camera when I checked cams yesterday afternoon. Do you think that he is the offspring of the second buck? Granted, he doesn't have brows (yet) but as wide as he is, with short tines, he drew some curiosity. Whether he is or not, I'm still excited for his potential.

The right side looks similar in shape from the base to the G2. Definitely a possibility. Looks like the second buck may have messed up his left side in velvet or from an injury. Can't compare the left sides.

That's what I was thinking. I would sure love it if the second buck grew his right as strong as his left next year.

I would wager that the are offspring of the same buck. Brothers, not father and son.

Definitely seem to be related. I'd love to know which deer that each person in our hunting camp killed were related. It would just be cool to know for sure how far back certain genes go.
