Is it just a black flash cell cam? I just checked their website and couldn't find anything about it

Am I reading that chart right? They are claiming that 17,000 pics only needs 1gb? That sounds off but I like the concept.

Any update on how this camera worked/picture quality? I am looking to pick up my first cell cam this spring and right now this one is at the top of my list.

I've been using the Blackhawk for a little while now. So far Im impressed with the trouble free operation.

here are just a few pics that were sent to my phone. images from the SD card look better in my opinion.

How did you setup your cam? 3-burst, 6-burst, 1-month plan, etc...

The only thing I wish covert had was an app to change the settings of the camera remotely.

Cool toy but I would miss the anticipation of walking up to my camera to see if I remembered to turn it on last time I checked it. :throw:

So is the subscription a per camera fee of a allotment of pics / data across the cams you have registered? Their how to video is not clear on that...

not sure of that one myself? I only have one right now? I do know that if you program it to send to more than one # or email that it eats into your data allotment. if it turns our to be per cam it could get very expensive, very quickly

I'd only buy into this if is was shared pic / data across multiple devices as some my cameras take very few pics and others take a boat load. I couldn't justify a per camera cost.

One plan covers up to 4 or 5 cameras.

If you had to pay per camera they would never sell, 1-year plans are $300!

you and me both. I have this one on the edge of a field with no feeder or anything to draw deer to. I get a a handful of pics a day, if I could have 2-3 set up this way with a limited amount of pics on the same data plan, Id buy more in a heartbeat

I don't see anyway to suspend the account or change the plan either. So even if you suspend the devices you are still going to pay for a plan year round. Kind of half assed as usual unless I am missing something.

I thought I saw that they had pay as you go plans, kind of like the monthly cellular plans, so you can stop and start when you want. If memory serves you paid by the amount of data you wanted per month.

yep, this is my understanding as well. you can go with a yearly plan and save a few bucks or go month to month and choose the GB plan you want

Love it!! lol I've been guilty of this several times over the years. The walk in to check them gives me a chance to see any changes (fallen trees/branches) in the area and any sign that might be around.
