I have a pic from 2014 and a pic from 2015. Is this just a bad genetic 2 year old?

I don't think they are the same deer. The one in the 2015 photo looks younger to me based on its face, it is shorter and appears to be the face of a young deer.

Looks like the same deer to me. A lot of the curvature seems to be really consistent between the two photos and the deer looks bigger bodywise in the second photo (even though you can't see much for body in the first). But I say that with very little experience judging trail camera photos of deer in.

I think it's the same buck. Like ruteger said the curves seem to be the same to me. But opinions are like mustangs.

Yeah - i'm not really sure what the deal is. But my buddy shot that buck. He's small racked but had a pretty big body. Maybe i'll have him age the teeth.

I don't think they are the same deer. I think the first one has a higher more vertical sweeping rack.

Simply because I think it looks like the same deer, a year later, I'm going to say a different deer.
