Opportunity knocked on my door again and I couldn't resist the challenge of taking a brand new trail camera company and putting them on the radar. Today is my first day with USA Trail Cameras. I'm also going to be relocating to Iowa to do some leasing and outfitting in my spare time. I'm going to be a busy boy but if your doing something you love its not really work ! Let the adventure begin.
I've been very impressed by the images and videos I've seen posted from these new cams. I'll be looking to add a couple to my fleet one of these days. Good luck with the new job, and with those Iowa giants.
I am going to guess that quite a few will try the new cameras out but for suckers and kool aid I think that is kind of funny. Since Covert has won EVERY month in the contest here.
I ran across the USA cameras a couple of weeks ago. Looks like some solid cameras that I might try out soon. As for the covert showing on this sight - a forum member was a part of the Covert team. He provided pictures, feedback, etc. on the products, which in turn helped bring awareness to that company. Do we see bushnell, Moultrie, or any other company staying active on the forum? I'm sure people on this forum (myself included) will give this new company a shot if Pat is as active with the pictures and they are of good quality.
What are we betting because what ever it is I will take that bet. You have to have a bunch of great pictures to have a winner. From what I have seen so far I think it will be only a matter of time but for now there isnt enough pictures to win the rest. Covert will still win some and dont be suprised to see a Stealth cam pull one out.
I don't think there needs to be a pissing match over what types of cameras people buy... I buy cameras on the quality of pictures, cost affiliated, and good customer service - I would assume most others do as well. From what has been shown here Covert has provided those things. Not sure why "converting" is a big issue if the company brings those things listed above to the table.
I don't think there is a pissing match going on. we are friends just giving each other a little crap.
Good luck Pat... I hope all your challenges just become opportunities for bigger and better things down the road for you and your family... Look forward to seeing your pic runs this summer!
Although I think Covert cameras do take great photos, it was pretty pathetic to read Pat admit on another forum that he adjust the color and brightness on 90% of the photos he post. I wonder if he will do the same with USA trail cameras. http://www.qdma.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68471&page=3
Yeah I never intended to start an argument over cameras. Hell, I plan on buying at least one Covert this summer. And probably a USA cam.
