So last weekend I am over at my buddies makin calls on the lathe, and I notice a trail cam NIB up on one of his cupboards. I pull it down, Stealth Cam Core STC-Z3IRTLNXT.... After giving him a hard time about how trail cams are very inefficient in cupboards, I told him to tell it goodbye. So I pull it out of the box last night and figured I'd throw it out in my yard so I could put that cam to better use somewhere else. First let me say I realize this must be a cheaper cam and I say that based of MP, setting options, etc BUT .... WTH is with the design of the buttons into the front case?!?!?!? REALLY? lmao holy mother of.... For those who havent seen this camera the buttons are solidly molded into the plastic housing. All I can figure is with great enough pressure they should activate an actual button inside the unit... But it doesn't work like that lol. More like you push a button and the display just goes all koo koo with a mind of its own.

Has anyone ever used one of these cams? I just can't stop laughing everytime I look at it..

The "Buttons" on the front are completely fake, just arrow up, arrow down.....maybe it would deter a thief, they cant get it to do anything so they think its broke lol

In my more than 25yrs of running cams, it's amazing to see how far they have come.

I have a similar one in black also. It was a gift. I had to go online and download the manual for it because it was so confusing to use. I put on a stand where I don't care if it gets stolen. Someone else should get a headache also.

You don't press down on them hard. They are the ones you use to set date, time, photo burst, video mode. Turn the camera on and out it on custom setting and close it than hit the up and down arrows gently and it will move it. They are not dummy buttons.
