Great pics!! I've still got mine out, first time I left them out over gun season so hopefully they are still there. Hope to check them in the next couple weeks or so.
How many people bring their cameras in?? I have no problem leaving them out in central mn. When I buy a trail camera I expect it to function year round... Not sure about everyone else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I used to bring my cameras in because I hunted heavily used public ground. Like 100,000 people a year. Granted, most of those people stay on the designated trails but it only takes one mushroom hunter or shed hunter for your camera to disappear. Great pictures, by the way.
I usually pull them for a month or so just to give them a rest but I don't know that I'll bother doing that this time around. Running feeders now so might as well keep getting pics through antler drop and velvet too.
I don't run all of my cameras all winter, but I usually keep one or two rolling. Those are pretty awesome pictures Fitz!
Mine are still out. I will bring one in do to some issues taking pictures with nothing there. But I leave them out year round. Really neat to see things change thru the 4 seasons. Beefie

Got 3 weeks and 1400 pics out of my G42!! That's not good enough to keep them out there in below freezing temp. Awesome pics tho. What kind of battery life are you getting out of your G42 in below freezing temp?
Have you updated the firmware? If not I would. Stealth Cam Drivers & Firmware Updates I've got great life from both G-Series models. I didn't get a G42 until late spring, but my G30 was a champ last winter. Lasted over 5 or 6 months on my first set and saw temps close to -40*.
I toyed with the idea of getting a G42. Those are some stellar shots. Even the G30 seems reasonable. I know it's not a popular thing to say, but I just want a cam that takes EXCELLENT night shots. Most of my setups on my property yield a high % of nighttime photos just because the few areas where I would get a lot of daytime activity is in bedding areas that I don't like intruding on. So far, none of the commercial cams I own take respectable nighttime shots. My homebrews and white flash have to do. The G42 seems to be my next attempt at a cam with solid nighttime capabilities. I've been VERY impressed with their daytime photos that I've seen posted here.
