When buying these how do you tell if there the 2014 model? I just read they up graded the flash on these? Can anyone point me in the right direction for the 2014's? Thk u bill

Mackspw.com I am not sure what year they have in stock. 2014 mpe5 vs 2013= Battery life is still very good. The flash is improved greatly,case is beefier with a bigger seal, different latches, way stronger tripod mount. Also the PIR sensor cover on the inside is smaller, what that means is the sensing area is narrowed up so the sensing now matches the field of view better. Great bare bones basic camera and I have a few of them and cant complain on them.

Red40 I seen a seller on eBay for $140 shipped with card. He runs that price off and on though. Far as I know that price in the link is the lowest price and will have to watch if wing supply gets some in stock.

50 dollar deal was this time last year at macks prairie wings. Deal of the year... This year there are some deals on the covert outlook but really nothing that is a "killer must have deal". Maybe something will come up though. Trust me people scour the interwebs for deals.
