Ok, I'm looking to get 2-3 new trail cams don't got time or money to the trial and error. I want one that take good night/day pics good night/day video and one that is good in the batteries. One I can use with stic n pic. Has time lapse, multi photo burst. Just want feed back on cameras.

Covert Red 40, Moultrie M880, and Stealth cam CG42 are the three commercial cams I would recommend.

If I have one complaint about the Moultrie M-880's it's that the video isn't particularly impressive.

Click the photo. I am not a fan of maintaining videos, but they seem ok.

Either of the G-Series Stealth Cam's should work great for you :tu:

Go with the Stealth Cam G series or Browning cams. Stay away from Covert and some Moultries.

Stealth Cam G-30 would be my strong recommendation! I have 7 and all 7 worked flawlessly this season!

Browning strike force is a great camera. Picture and video great. Only thing on video is that it is limited to 10 second video clips at night

Thanks for the recriminations! How bout the new cuddebacks? I've had bad experience with the attacks and ambushes and am wondering has changed with the new ones.

Friends don't let friends buy cuddebacks.

I personally don't care for Stealth (had 3 g42s). I would say Coverts or the Browning strike force. Anything after 2012 Moultrie sucks.

I have had a Covert Black 60 (I believe) and it has performed flawless. Nighttime pics aren't the greatest as expected from a black flash camera but I love it otherwise. It has been out in the LA heat and now cold since February and is still showing half battery! I just picked up and MP-E5 for 80 bucks and am expecting the same results from it. Give it a look

Sounds like the browning may need to be one that I look into!

2104 bushnell trophy cam max, or the browning strike force. I also like coverts but I don't know enough about them. Stay away from moultrie, and cuddeback. cabbalas new cameras are also very nice. they take great video.

Just ordered my 2nd Covert Red 40. I couldn't resist it at $134.00! I've promised myself for the last 3 years that I'd try a Covert, as I've always used Cuddes in the past. The Covert just picks up more activity (Siman said) and I can really rely on the battery life much better than the Cuddes. Just a solid cam. I've seen the light.

I have 4 Moultrie M-880's (2013 models) and love them. REALLYYYY bummed i can't buy the 2013 model any more. I paid 119$ for them.

I've been reading that the 2014 m-880's have had a lot of problems. anyone PERSONALLY have experience with the 2014 models? If someone has personal experience with these and have not had problems, i would recommend it to everyone for the price of 119$. can't beat it.
