This little $100 cam continues to amaze me! Blows away the pics and videos from my Coverts and Bushnells.

On Ebay. I just looked and the seller has gone up on his price and only had a set of two for $259.99
I bought three of them about two months ago when he had them for $99 shipped with two year warranty.

$99 for a G42 is a smoking deal! You see any more of those please let me know. :D

I've been super impressed with mine as well. We have one under an apple tree that banged out over 2200 images in the last 2 weeks without a hiccup. Next to zero false triggers, image quality is great, and batteries have been holding steady at a 1,000 photo-a-week pace for the last 3 months solid.

I won't say I'm extremely happy with the night pic quality but overall, it's a really good camera and I'm happy with mine too. I don't recall for sure but I think mine was on Amazon for $129. I had enough points on my amazon card I got mine for like $80 but for $129, it's probably the best camera I've seen for the price. It's better than my Coverts at the same price and almost as good as the Moultrie M-880's (2013).

Are you getting a lot of IR burn? Try angling the camera down just a tad. Really helped me.

Some but the thing that keeps me a little repressed on giving it a great rating on night pics is just that the pics are not as good as the M-880 night pics. They are not as crisp and clear as the M-880's I've been running since last year. The day pics are better, like HD quality but since the majority of my deer pics are at night, that's kind of a big deal. The G42 night pics are still good but not good enough for me to say I'm "extremely" happy. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give the G42 like a 8 and the moultrie M-880 a 9, Covert Mp8 black would be a 7.

My idea of a 10 for night pics would probably be like a white flash 12mp camera, in color...so a pretty high top end standard.

I've seen some really good pics from the Moultries and from what I've read 2014 models are not near as good as last years.

Those pics look great but how's the trigger speed? Hard to judge when the deer are standing over bait for several minutes. Trigger speed is the most important aspect to me.

These are from a G30 so it's not exact but by all accounts both of my cameras work the same. These are the first pics of the deer as it walks into the frame through a food plot. They aren't running but they're not standing still either. Trigger speed seems pretty good.

I would have to agree with you. seems pretty good. If I can get one for 100 bucks (no pun intended), I'll be owning it for sure.

Yeah I got a 3 shot burst a couple of days ago on a nice 8 Pointer and like Justin said the deer was walking but all three pics caught the buck.

I have one of the Unit stealth Cams, love the video and audio, but the battery life sucks! Hows the video and battery life of these new cams?
