I've been waiting all year for the card pull to show 1 particular buck and today it finally happened! This is a deer we call The General and he is at least 9.5 years old. We have had pictures of him now for the last 6 years. He doesn't have the biggest rack on the farm but it's very rare for a buck to make it this long in the wild. Hopefully my cousin or I get a shot at this true legend!

    Pretty cool!

I'm still waiting confirmation that my 8-9 year old is alive. His sheds were found in spring but he hasn't been seen since. I'm not giving up hope yet but it's not looking good.

Does he have some very unique mark or something or how do you know he is the same one? Post up a couple pics from each year so we can see his progression!

I have only seen this deer once outside of the rut and that was when he was 4.5 years old and I should have killed him that night in mid October but I screwed it up. Otherwise we have seen him a couple times from the road during late season in our food plots but of course we weren't hunting and I did see him last year with a doe on November 1st. I think this year he might be killable. Here are the pictures. We believe he may have gotten injured in 2008 which led to the weird rack in 2009. His left side is nearly identical to the rest of the years we have pictures of him.
