Got this guy on cam this time around. I recognize him from last year but he's gained quite a lot. First time I have seen him this year. He was a ten point last year but not as impressive. Honestly I had forgot about him.

I think he's five. If it's the same buck I recall from last year he looked 4 last year and I think he looks a bit older in the rest of the pics (as a whole) than just this one pic. I'm not positive though and so far just this one camera is the only one he's gotten in front of and always alone. I should get him on the other camera before long and I'll see if I can reach a conclusion. I'll post more pics as I get them too.

Okay, so after a lot of searching, I finally found this guys pic from last season (January 2014, last years rack) He looks like he was 4 years old last year as I recalled and I still agree with that.
Time stamps in the pics is correct, older ones are from Jan 2014, what he was carrying last season compared to now.

This is what I've talked about so many times here that there is not much change between 4 and 5 years old. Clearly he was older than 3.5 in those Jan pics, making him at least 4.5 so he has to be at least 5.5 now. Some of the other current pics you can make out the beginnings of a sway in his back but at 5+ a back sway is generally way less prominent than most generally thought of. Tricky proposition aging these deer.
