I picked up a refurbished range finder that looked brand new from Natchezss. EBay...I don't know if I would trust as much as that may be a final attempt to sell the item.
    As always: do your research.

Moultrie replaced two of my cameras with refurbished ones and only one worked from the box. Since they "didn't have to send anything" they wouldn't help me any further. Got me a Stealth Cam, no complaints.

I think it's a hit and miss proposition.

All electronics are hit/miss in my book.... you get what you pay for. But i'm not afraid of trying a refurb or a used camera... $$ is right go for it.

I bought a bunch of refurb Moultrie D55-irxt's this year for $60 a pop and they are fantastic cameras and all have functioned flawlessly. I've also bought refurb GPS's (Rino 535's), etc in the past. I've never had a problem with any of them.

It can be hit or miss. I have bought a few over the years and they worked really well.

Refurbished could be okay but the problems I had with my m80s I wouldn't spend $5 on a refurbished one.
