Freak Show

This is a deer I call Freak Show. I saw him on stand 3 years ago as a 1 1/2 year old but never got any pictures of him that year. Last year as a 2 1/2 year old I have a couple early summer pictures of him but after the season opened he got camera shy. I did see him from the stand early in the season last year but always a long way away. He is back again this year and is looking good enough to shoot. He sure is unique and he is very identifiable from a long way off. The first two pictures are from last year (daytime) and the last four are from this last week. I see him almost every week but always at night. He may be goofy looking but he's not stupid!

 

looks to be blind in one eye as well. good luck catchin up with him this season.

Definitely blind in one eye. I'll bet he's relocating to another property when the season starts. Good luck with him.

Thanks guys. He's been blind in that eye for at least 2 years. Sure doesn't seem to bother him any.
