Waterfowl pics from the homebrews

    I got into this hobby for the same reason most of us did.....the deer pics. Over the years this hobby has morphed into a separate thing. I gotta say, I love getting waterfowl pics more than anything. I wasn't completely satisfied with my camera placement but anyone who has ever placed a camera in a swamp will tell you; mounting places are sometimes limited. These are from my Sony H70 and Sony W7 homebrews.

    These are from the W7. I was going for blue herons but the consensus is these are green herons.

    Great pics!! Last year was my second year running cams, and after getting the flooded timber pics makes me want another one to put right on the water. Love the waterfowl pics.

    cool pictures/ set up.

    what you using to mount the camera? I would look into a stic n pic if you dont have one.

    Currently I just try to find a straight tree in the pond to hang the camera. Only problem is, the tree is not always where I need it to be. I have a stic-n-pic but some places in that swamp are too deep for it. I'm thinking of pounding some metal fence posts into the ground in the pond.
