I've got this buck on camera a ton on my past camera pull 2 1/2 weeks ago. Think he's over 3.5? Anything will help, thanks guys!
He'll be over 3.5 when the season starts. Fawns are born in the spring making them a whole number until fall when you can add a 1/2 year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
3.5 by fall. Looks to be a healthy one. If you have other mature bucks in the area that you can go after and the area you hunt doesn't have major hunting pressure, you may want to think about letting him pass because next year he could be a giant freak.
My neck hurts from trying to look at the pics! I'm thinking he is 3 min but leaning more toward 4. If he makes you happy let it fly
I was thinking the same...I believe 3 years old is a safe for sure bet but he could be a 4 in my opinion.
Not all mature bucks will have breath taking racks. He is clearly 4 1/2 in the fall, but I would not be suprised if he is older than that.
He looks beefy but I didnt see any sag in his back and not a whole lot in his belly, possible a well fed 3 right now?
Thanks for all the inputs guys! Will probably take him his fall if he presents an opportunity with being around hat 5ish age! Hopefully will be able to see what his rack turns into this next month!
Does change perspective a bit once they are right side up. I just did one...yes I'm lazy. I still think he could easily be five years old but he could be a really healthy big 4.
Thanks for all the help guys! Ill post a picture of him next week, when I go check cams! Hopefully he'll be growing some tine length!
Yeah, I think I'll have to change my guess to 4 year old and I could see maybe even a 5 year old. Maybe I didn't get a good look earlier on my work computer...
