Got home from the field today and had a package sitting on the porch, it was the two new Covert mp8 black cameras I ordered Monday on Amazon. Un-boxed them and set them up, getting ready to go set them out over mineral now. Already tested them out and they take great pics. I had $100 worth of points on Amazon so I got the pair super cheap...bargain! Can't wait to get these out and get some pics going...stay tuned.
Haha, well this deal started out about right! I set one of the Coverts out overlooking a salt block north of an old pond. After setting everything I got on the ATV and started it and caught movement in the pond, looked over and there was a buck running around the inside of the pond dam (water level is low) and over the dam and over the fence. I got a decent look at his rack as he jumped the fence.....a bruiser of an 8 point ( I think). Probably 20" inside with 10" G2's at least. I have a 145,5/8" 8 point on the wall and this one looks nicer. Hopefully he comes back to the covert!
