    After my card pull today I found this young guy on camera. I think he is 3 1/2 and has tons of potential if he can make it through this year. He is in a public land area so I know he may not. I just hope people can see potential and let him walk.

    I agree. Just looking at his body though he is not very old in my opinion. What you think?

    yeah definitely young, but man, if he can get thru another year, and better yet 2 years.....words wont be able to describe him haha

    Really depends on your area. For me, that buck is already a monster and likely a once in 20 years kind of buck. That would be shot in a heartbeat. My area also has a lot of people that live by the if it's brown its down kind of mentality. I think if he is on a public land area and someone gets a crack at it, they are taking it.

    He's 3 years old, on public land I'd consider taking that deer because he won't last through this season if very many people hunt it. If he even gets seen from the road by some of the local big mouths, he'll be targeted extra hard. His best chance is if he finds a local private section that's low pressure and hides out over season.

    Who knows, he made it through last year though.

    It's semi private on a military post. They practice pretty good qdma.

    I suppose North East Kansas would be more accurate. lol I never was good at geography:lol:
