Looking for low cost trail cams, 125.00 max due to budget. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I buy the Moultrie for that same reason. They do ok. I have only spent $70 to $90. Some of the more expensive cams do have better quality pictures.

Occasionally you'll find some refurbished Coverts or a sale-nice pics, good battery life.

Cheap moultrie refurbished cams are usually available here, your mileage may vary: http://www.moultriefeeders.com/specials

I just ordered a Covert mp8 black flash on Amazon for $129.

Correction, I just ordered a second one, regular price is like $159 most everywhere else. Same as the last mp6 except 40 leds instead of 28...unless some data I have is wrong.

So the flash range should be better than the mp6 black.

I added a refurbished Moultire D-55 for 29.99 a couple weeks ago. Have had one in the field for 3 years with 0 issues.

Moultrie cams are awesome and they have many different models for under $130. I like the M-80XT (which is an older camera) and the M-880 and M-880i

Get a covert. The mpe5 is a ridiculous little camera for the price. I've ran quite a few cams in the last four years and nothing, I mean nothing even holds a candle to them in terms of pic quality, trigger, and especially battery life. I've got a red 40 in the woods that is still on the original set of cheap-o dollar general batteries since January with thousands of pictures taken. It's likely I'll never run another camera brand besides coverts.

We just picked up a Moultrie this weekend for $79.99 at Dunhams Sports Store. I also picked up another Wildgame Innovations camera. I like the Wildgame ones because of the price and ease of using them.

If you have a Dunhams - they have a 20% off coupon online!

Cuddeback is what I use and have great luck with. Use to use moultree. Good cameras but trigger speed is pretty slow and miss a lot of heads.

Don't get a wildgame innovations. Had one for one season and it stopped working. Just reached out to them about a replacement and they said I have to have a receipt to make sure its under warranty. Had it out for maybe 3 months tops and batteries compartment is corroded and it won't turn on. Don't buy a WILDGAME INNOVATIONS!!
