As some know, I bought a house that came with over 20 acres (got permission today to hunt neighbors 20 acres). It's a nice chunk of woods for bow hunting. I set out a camera down near my woods line behind my house. Quite a few bucks, but nothing big like you all keep posting!

Though, it will be my first archery deer so I wont be picky. As the saying goes "can't eat the antlers"...

They have potential. I have "big one" I want to keep my eye on. But only one day with him.

I think that 7th pic is a nice buck- maybe better than the follow up. Nice wide spread anyway. He's still got time to get a bit more tine length.

Im kind of lucky to own a chunk of powerlines, which feeds for a major deer trail.

Definately keeping cameras out and hoping some of these stay. I will be in the trees you see in the pics. Going to pull the other camera thats down a ways this weekend. Hopefully good results there, too.

Thanks, Im anxious! Our season doesnt open until October!

You just doubled your hunting ground and already showing a lot of potential! I have 4 bucks I'm watching....well 4 on cams 1/6, 1/8 and a 10....the 4th is a giant that my buddy sees but stays clear of my cameras...."more points than he can count"...my point is: with what you got on film means there's more than likely a "big boy" running around....

Looks like you moved into a paradise. Congrats and don't scare them off with to much human scent in there. I'd say plan carefully.

Don't let what others post or state is a trophy to them change your idea of a trophy. Take pride in managing your piece of property and whatever deer you can harvest on it. Your lucky to call a piece your own. That's a nice buck and you should be super pumped if you can put it all together this season and make that your first buck! Good luck! Make sure you update everyone with your season progress...failure or success. All part of what makes BH so great!

Trophy is in the eye of the bow holder!

If that's been said before don't tell me....I'd like to think I came up with that! Ha.

Well your smallest one is bigger then the biggest one I have got on camera!! Lol We always get more bucks running around our property about the end of October. 4 out of 5 bucks killed over the last 2 years were bucks we have never seen or gotten on camera.(All taken by my hunting buddy and uncle and not by me sadly) You could have a giant walk through when the rut starts to pick!!!! Good luck this fall!!!
