    My fave was the does on the ridge top, although the herons were great too. I never realized you had a homebrew. When did you get that? The S40 takes really great daytime pics and if it's paired with a slave flash, it's night pics are really good too.

    Just picked the cam up a week and half ago. You're the second person to recommend the slave flash so I guess I better look into that. Pics look great on the homebrew.

    Actually when I looked at those pics again, I was thinking it might have had a slave. You are really getting good coverage with the camera flash.

    yeah that ridge set up is a winner.


    and we pulled some cards yesterday and saw one smaller 4/6 pt still holding both sides... might not ever drop

    I know you like to set your bar high and they may seem ho-hum to you, but those were GREAT pictures!! Everything from yotes, to deer to all kinds of critters including an owl!! I'd say Heck Yeah!
