This is how I get to my cameras this time of year :tu:

The walk in is hard work, but beautiful.

Good thing my camera was on top of a Stic-N-Pic! It's in the right side of the pic, barely above the snow...

The walk back is always much easier.

Here's a good comparison showing the added snow from late Dec - yesterday.

Lot's of snow, but the deer don't seem to mind too much.

After Thursday's storm, I'll be setting 7 cams up on a deer carcass.

Should get some good stuff :tu:

gator traxx.jpg i hear ya, shed hunting is a pain in the *ss right now due to snow, i have a yamaha grizzly 4x4 but that will go nowhere in the snow we have either need a sled or one of these, which is way out of my budget.

We might have to borrow one of those from a guy we know up here to get my dad's Ice Castle off the lake :busted:

Just about buried a big v-plow on the ice road trying to get to it yesterday before my trail cam outing.

I could use a snow machine. Haven't been able to get to my cams for three months now.

Being from Va I have never gotten to ride a snow machine. I have spent some time in Minnesota for work and seen them. They ride those things everywhere up there. I was in Elk River Minn for 6 months and then Waconia for a few weeks.
