I would say this topic has been beat to death. I bought a Wildgame IR5 camera last year and it worked good, but its not working this year. I called, they said to take batteries out and do a hard reset, put batteries back in - but still no screen. I am taking it back to ****s tomorrow, but probably will have no luck. I can buy 1 new camera - which camera should I buy?? Suggestions are very helpful. Thanks,.
Covert. MPe-5 is a great little camera. 6 MP and very good pictures for $99. MP6 is the best camera for the money. I prefer the MP6 Black over the regular MP6
i just picked up 2 MPe-5's this week after a bunch of people on here recommended them. im hoping to find some scrapes and get them out this weekend. they arent doing me any good sitting at the house. but for the price i would try these. there are a lot of guys recommending them and the pictures they are posting up are really good quality.
I have a Moultrie and like it, maybe not love it? What makes the Covert so good and what are the best models for the money? I am a teacher, so spending a bunch is always a problem. Could someone rank the best cams for around $100 and again for under $150?
My favorite two cams are the mp6 black and the red 40, coverts take great pics, great battery life and their customer service is top notch. For around $100 the mp6 is a nice little cam and for $150 I would look at the red 40 on sale and the mp6 black. Scoot
Bushnell cameras are the way to go, tigger speed, battery life, are awesome. They are worth the money.
Better battery life then the Moultries. Good picture quality from top to bottom (Cheaper Moultries lack in this category). Better trigger speeds. Easier to operate. And the best...customer service is WAY better. Pat (gutone4me) is right here on the boards and always willing too solve any problems that come up.
Just a heads up before you head out- I don't know that BP carries them. Or at least I know they don't online..
Order one online....none of the retailers carry them for some reason ..... Covert cams are amazing for the price
I recently saw the MPE5 in a dunhams magazine and I was pretty surprised, never seen them in any retail stores before. If you have a dunhams near you I would check that out, if not I would just order one online.
I got a covert mpe5 for my first camera this summer. I really like it. It doesn't have a ton of set up options but for around $100 it does what it is supposed to do, take good pictures.
Coverts by a landslide. If you spend under 100.00 dollars in a trail camera you will get what you pay for in most cases and that's not much.
