I've been out of traditional archery for a long time & I'm aware that I can't get cedar shafts like back in the day. But what's everyone else using??
Look to three rivers archery. They have more cedar shafts and complete arrows than you would use in a lifetime.
I used to use kustom King tapered cedar. They're not available from what I can find. I've used others n they seem prone to warp. I do love cedar but now use carbon. It's a contradiction but it's what I do
check out Surewood Shafts Home Page They're Douglas Fir but they cut the tree and make the shafts themselves.. Quality people to do business with..
I've always used aluminum, have been using since about 1980. Haven't broken one yet from shooting unless I count the ones deer have broken.
