Hello friends My son has a Hoyt Dorado 60" with 35 lbs. What is the optimal brace height for this bow? Hoyt says 7-8". But I mean that the bow there's very loud and spongy. I can go over the 8 "or damaging it the bow? Thanks for your help. Greeting, Andy
I always shot mine at 7 3/4". But I didn't have Hoyt Dorado limbs on it. I used some Hoyt or Trad Tech ILF limbs with a conversion kit. Great bow!
You should be safe up to 8.25" I shoot mine from 7.5 to 8 without much difference. The noise probably isn't affected by the brace height. Throw some rubber whisker silencers on it and see what happens
Does it have a flemish twist string or an endless string? Also is it a B-50 string or fast-flight? How many strand string? chris
