Hey all, My father-in-law gave me these two recurves recently because he's known that I have been wanting to get into traditional. He found them while cleaning out his late fathers items in storage. I've been compound bow hunting for 15 years and completely new to traditional so any info on these bows would be appreciated. I'd like to get these bows back to shooting condition. Possible? Thanks! You'll need to find the AMO string length for them. The Root will be the better shooting bow. But you'll need to start with the lighter weight bow to begin with. Both are good bows. Check them for cracks and limb straightness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a traditional shop about 45 mins away, Twig Archery. I've dealt with the owner before thru my work selling him arrow boxes. Think I'll take them to him and have him look them over and if they are ok, put strings on them and set me up with some arrows. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
ny you should type this. I have both a Ben Pearson Collegian and a Root Warrior. Both great bows and a blast to shoot.
