340 spine !!

    Im going to try and shoot a 165 grain bh using a 340spine arrow cut 29in . What i want to know is this too much spine for 40lb recurve 28dl ?

    what spine arrow would work with that bh , dl ,and bow poundage ?

    With 165 up front you might be weak enough with .500

    40lbs with a recurve I would get a 500 spine arrow and bare shaft tune by cutting 1/4" at a time because 29" arrow may not give you the best tune you could possibly get.

    Maybe a full-length .500 would tune
