Has anyone here ever owned or currently own a Black Widow bow. I was looking at their Recurve Takedowns?

Ok so I think I'm going to invest in a BW PSA. I know for the price I could be some tricked out compound but honestly traditional is so much more challenging and fun!!!!!!

Get the Ironwood...PSA V. The exotics are really nice looking but the "V" series are much smoother bows. I've had the II's, III's, and X series and the V's were the best.

Jim I was thinking of going with the green leaf,, they said it's the same wood as the gray bark. I want a darker wood/color. Is the one you spoke of a deeper color?

The middle bow is a TF V, one-piece. Top bow is a PL X osage and the bottom is a PSA X bocote. The TF was my favorite Widow.

This is the PSR V 2-pc t/d I had. Great shooting '50s style bow with an awesome grip...if you like slimmer risers and longbow type grips on recurves

I will be giving them a call tomorrow, could your really tell the smoothness of the Ironwood? I love the look of the gray bark and the Greenleaf. Hey are you gonna do the contest this year? I'm trying to get a traditional team together this year

Yep...smoother and quicker. The ironwood series uses bamboo in the cores. I probably won't get to hunt too many times this year so I don't think I'll do the contest

I've seen a few of the cross-cut greybarks....awesome looking bows, especially when they don't have the red lam in the riser. Good choice!

That looks pretty cool. I messed around with a long bow while deployed, as you already know that really requires some practice.
