What arrows do you shoot and why?

I shoot carbon for the durability factor. For me it's pure economics.

Welcome Neighbor! I shoot FMJs 340 and I love them. You get the best of both worlds. Carbon Core and Aluminum Jacket. I say this a lot here, They Hit Like a BRICK! I have been shooting them for 3 years now and I have had a pass through on very deer I have taken with them. I still have 20 of the 24 I bought originally. They are very durable and fly really straight.

You're right about the FMJs. Used them when I was shooting my Z7X. It's hard to beat them with a compound.

I shoot Carbon Express Mayhem Hunter outta my Revenge and love them. Killed a lot of the deer, and very tough and hit hard. Outta my Bowtech i'm going to shoot the Deer Crossing Archery arrows with brass inserts this year. They fly great and are very tough as well.

I've just started shooting Widowmaker Smash 300s. There around 11gn per inch in weight and a micro diameter shaft. Penetration is unbelievable and they are almost indestructible.

Check these test out the owner does on them and his broadheads.

Cedar arrows work well for me. I have some carbon but I have trouble getting the good arrow flight due to spine issues. It's also a cost factor for me, I can make wood arrows a lot cheaper.

The carbons I shoot are 600 spine gold tip traditionals. Cut at 29" with 5" shield cut feathers and a 250 grain point. Shoot them off my 45lb Grizzly with a 27" draw.
Should have put this info in the first post : )
